Where to Start

If you are brand new to competition math, a reasonable path is:

  1. Khan Academy: Study algebra, geometry, and arithmetic up to your grade level.
  2. MathNet: Explore more problems for exposure to a wider range of competition traditions.
  3. Evan Chen's Handouts: Deepen topic knowledge, especially the syllabus, proof-writing notes, and any topic you're actively working on.
  4. AoPS: Try past papers. Then, read other people's solutions on the forum, even for problems you solved. There is almost always a cleaner approach.
